More fiction than fact fuels this broad comedy about the beginnings of pro-football, staring George Clooney (who also directs), Renee Zellewger & John Krasinksi. Plenty of passes and plays, rousing music, and interesting sub-stories (press censorship, who gets the girl) keep audiences rooting for characters tackling a less than plausible plot.
